The NEW Alex’s Tackle Shop - Soft Launching
Do you need stuffs from TCE Tackle Cebu like Aji King, Lemax, St. Croix Rods? How about Tomman and Banax Reels? Or maybe some terminal tackle like Lemax braids and monofilament lines?
Here’s GREAT NEWS! There is no need to ship your gear from Cebu, they are all available at Alex’s Tackle Shop in Quezon City!
It was rumored that TCE Tackle will be opening up a shop in Manila, but it seemed that it was a better option for them to tie up with a well known tackle retailer Alex Ngo. After a few months of negotiations, it’s finally here and they did a soft launch last December 19, 2008
The Tomman Reels are priced approximately P6,000+ and P5,000+ WHAT A DEAL!!
Alex Tackle Shop is located at:
72 Sgt. Emilio Rivera St.
Barangay Manresa 1100
Quezon City, Philippines

Please put a branch here in davao… Please… There is no tackle shop here. We only buy our stuffs at sports shop. But they don’t have all the necessary stuffs. Wla nga silang bait-casting na reel. Un pa naman ung gusto ko. Ung medyo square shaped ^_^. Maawa po kayo sa mga angler dito sa davao.
Hi there,
What brands of spinning reel do you stock there? do you have any from shimano or daiwa?
Kind regards
Del
Hi there, i was surfing the net and come to stumble on your shop’s website and I find it indeed very impressive, specially with the wide collections of rods and reels that you have for sale.I am planning to go back into angling again and definitely this is one of the tackle shops i will be visiting. Also came as a surprise is in one of the pics during the soft opening i saw one of my fishing buddies that i used to go fishing with but some how got lost in touch with.I was also wondering if that is Cholo Santos if I remember his name correctly, i’ve been looking for him for the longest time already if you get to see him please send my regards as well and maybe we can all go on a fishing trip one of these days.
best wishes,
Vince de la Paz
do you have ugly stik spinning combos or cabelas spinning combos
Hi there,
I was looking at your website and it’s interesting vieuwing it.
Next week december 15, i will visit Davao for 3 weeks hoping that i can do some fishing there too.
Me myself i work in a big tackle-shop ( http://www.megafish.eu ) in the Netherlands (Europe) and this is an official Shimano Service center.
Within 3 years i’m planning to go live in Davao, after my retirement and when i have enough knowledge about sports-fishing overthere, maybe i’m planning to start up a tackle-shop in Davao.
It defenitly will gonna be a Shimano shop, because this is the best brand in the world.
If you got any usefull tips for me, pls mail it to: josrijnkel@zeelandnet.nl
Maybe one day we’ll meet.
Kindly sports-fishing regards…..
Jos.
Hi there!
I once caught my biggest talakitok(7kilos) and my biggest torsillo in 1994 with that big fat guy in blue behind the lot. Hehehe.
And I still the Daiwa 2 ball bearing spining reel i caught the fish with.
Now I’m looking for shimano reels so I can put my trusty daiwa to rest.
by the way,I hope cholo doesn’t keep telling you about the 7 kilo tanigue we caught in subic a few years ago. And we were in a 7 foot boat. Imagine that!
