December 2008 Fishing Roundup

6 January 2009 3 Comments

December is always a great month for fishing. Unfortunately for me, Decebmer is also the time when my workload almost always bury me alive. It is when most couples decide to get married, companies hold their christmas events and parties, and families hold reunions. Most often than not, these events require photographers… :(

Arnold, aka SteelRainbow at filipinoanglers.org went home from Canada and with that, several fishing trips were planned for him. It was also a great time for a group fishing event.. Unfortunately, I wasn’t around on most of them..

The first trip was in Pantabangan Dam in Nueva Ecija. They did camping and night fishing and i heard that they had to do a full kilometer hike up the hill in order to go to the boatmen… It was an awesome experience for them..

The next trip was in Laiya, Batangas, where Alan and Arnold fished with the Pinoy-Anglers Club. The trip was a really successfull one as everyone had their own share of Dorados. The biggest catch of the day was Cliffords’s 10.5kg Bull Dorado

The third trip was at Pundaquit, Zambales. Everything was almost perfect except that only a few of us managed to land fishes. The most notable was Alan’s 12kg Tanigue.

To sum it up, December is the month to visit the Philippines and go Fishing!!!

i enjoyed the photo gallery!,here in cebu i hope there will be a really good spot where we can enjoy fishing. we have here a new place called the south road properties or also well-known as the srp.i thought of asking our local government to make a pier or wharf for us or anyone for that matter so game fishing can be enjoyed even if they will make us pay for it. i think by the time this will be realized this will also make us cebuanos become conscious of how little time we have in life and why not enjoy life to the fullest? GO FISHING! i think fishing makes us enjoy life by asking ourselves how do fishes live? why go for my bait and not others when my bait is not a live one and my friend so near me not having a bite or his luck today and not mine tomorrow? would not that also apply to our daily existence? HE WHO GOES FISHING HAS LONGER PATIENCE THAN THOSE WHO DO NOT. anyway so many things are better said than done so i have to stop this and do what i have said. I HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO MAKE MY IDEA WORK!!!
